High quality visuals are essential for any creative enterprise to grow their customer, client or audience base. Communication today, and particularly through social media and online, is highly visual and visual content is what gets noticed. MyCreativeEdge.eu provides a highly visual platform to showcase your work.
Your ‘story’ is also key to marketing your product/service. Consumers and buyers are interested in the ‘how, why and who’ of creative work. Media and social media respond well to stories and images of the people behind the product or service.
CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
Lapland University of Applied Sciences through ‘a creative momentum project’ is seeking applications from creative enterprises based in Lapland or North Ostrobothnia to have a professional photoshoot of their enterprise.
Each selected creative enterprise will be assigned a professional photographer who will visit their studio/office/workspace/exhibition (or other location if preferred) to undertake a professional photoshoot focused on:
• Illustrating the creative process being undertaken by the individual / staff
• Key products, services, artworks etc.
The outcome would be a minimum of 10 high quality shots illustrating the creative individual /staff at work. The selected enterprise will discuss the shoot in advance with the photographer to explore the best way to illustrate their work and process especially enterprises which are more service based e.g. digital media, software development.

We are seeking applications from anyone involved in the following activities:
• Arts: Literature and Writing; Performing Arts; Visual Arts
• Crafts: Fashion & Accessories; Home & Gifts; Jewellery; Pottery & Ceramics
• Design: Architecture & Interiors; Fashion Design; Graphic Design; Product Design
• Media & Technology: Advertising & Publishing; Digital Media; Film & Video; Games; Photography; Software Development; TV & Radio
We wish to cover as broad a range of sectors as possible and welcome applications from all sectors.
Only applicants based Lapland or North Ostrobothnia in Finland are eligible to apply.
Applicants must also be registered on MyCreativeEdge.eu and have published a Profile.
USE OF IMAGES
The images will be used as follows:
• By the creative enterprise: the images would be made available to the enterprise for use in their online and other promotional and marketing activities including their MyCreativeEdge.eu Profile. The details of the licence for use would be agreed with each individual.
• By ‘a creative momentum project’: the images would be used (with appropriate accreditation) by project partners in promotional activities for ‘a creative momentum project’ and in marketing and advertising collateral for MyCreativeEdge.eu. This could include website, press releases, newsletters, promotional brochures, social media, digital marketing ads, presentations and reports.
