Having completed a degree in Printed Textile Design in the National College of Art and Design (NCAD), Irish fashion designer, Ciara Silke has a tactile feel for the fabrics she uses. In the design and manufacture of her scarves, she juxtaposes bold graphic imagery with soft lightweight fabrics. Similarly, she develops delicate imagery and prints onto heavyweight fabrics. The result of these unexpected combinations is striking and compelling pieces.
