Saara Sarparanta teaches Arts in Rovaniemi. She also paints and designs products in different forms of art. "Delicate paper and charcoal make the work challenging. Each mark will be visible in the final work. You simply couldn´t use the rubber or the paper will fall apart. Lines, even mistakenly made ones tell a story
I live in Arctic Circle, in a beautiful and peaceful town called Rovaniemi. Here I make art works about the nature and animals of Lapland. I´m a painter, printmaker and an art educator. I`m also evolving my works into trays, cards and other design products.
