I started crafting at an early age and was apprentice to a master weaver at the beginning of my career. Having had work showcased at The Royal Dublin Society several years in a row I specialise in handmade pieces using only natural materials. These include silk, linen, alpaca and wool sourced from throughout Ireland .
My main collection is luxury hand woven scarves which are simply in design but very soft and light. They are woven on a simply loom. My other range of accessories are wrist warmers which I design and knit from my own hand spun yarn. I love colour and think my work reflects this.
I have extensive experience as a teacher having worked with the public and private sectors for over 30 years instructing all age groups and abilities. I now offer lessons in spinning, weaving and knit ware to the public as well as regularly demonstrating and hosting workshops throughout the country.
