With Creative2Creative matching you can find more than good advice online

Two production companies – EverWhat Productions based in Northern Finland and Babyjane Productions in the West of Ireland – were connected last year through the creative momentum project and started a peer-to-peer mentoring process.

Peer-to-peer mentoring creates a wonderful opportunity to network and engage with international companies similar to your own business. It is a great way to platform your own work and meet like-minded people with the possibility of building long term business partnerships.

Antti Kaarlela from Oulu and Emma Owen from Galway would not have had the opportunity to meet each other without the assistance of the Creative2Creative matching programme.

Through Skype calls and emails, they set their individual goals, discussed their dreams with regards to their companies and began the journey of mentoring each other over the obstacles that occurred during the process.

Antti and Emma discovered they shared the same ambition for making high quality films and getting involved with international collaborative projects. After 6 months (the duration of the Creative2Creative matching programme), the companies decided to keep in touch and work on a co-production.

“Emma said she had a script and asked me if I wanted to read it” says Antti. “I did and I loved it.” Now the two producers are working on a co-produced feature film between Ireland and Finland.

“We couldn’t have come to this place without the help and support of a creative momentum project and their matching process”.
