MyCreativeEdge.eu is not only a platform for direct promotion of products and services. The bigger picture is that MyCreativeEdge.eu could be the place where creative practitioners from Europe’s Northern Edge find each other, connect with each other and lead discussions on creativity.
For this reason registered users such as creative enterprises, researchers, venue managers, institutions and consumers of creative products/services are encouraged to post blog articles to a new section called Deep in Thought.
Through Deep in Thought posts, registered users can share best practice, reflect on their experience and even encourage feedback from other members. They can post ‘How to’ guides, personal stories, thoughts on creative topics and trends.
Posting an article is easy:
- Once you are registered on the beta site, simply login.
- On your Dashboard, click ‘Deep in Thought’>’Add article’ on the left hand menu
- Make sure you fill in the 4 mandatory fields: Title, Short Description/Introduction (140 characters), your text in the ‘Standard Content Section’ and the ‘Featured Image’;
- Click on ‘Publish’ on the top-right hand side of the screen.
There are a number of options to customise your Deep in Thought post. For example, you can create a small gallery of images, add a video, or highlight a very important quote by using the Quote Section, which will create a speech bubble effect around the quote.
