Sugartown Films is a new company but has over 20 years experience in broadcast TV and corporate sector. Paschal Cassidy the MD of the company has a varied background in all genres of TV. Over the last 10 years he has produced over 100 hours of arts programming, 40 hours of music shows and a huge variety of lifestyle, factual and Ob doc. With an IFTA under his belt for Iarscríbhinn a documentary on Seamus Heaney and numerous other awards Paschal has proven that his work is up there with the best. Sugartown are people driven and we love to tell a good story. We are all about getting to know our subjects and our subject matter and making everyone feel comfortable in their own environment. We’ve travelled all over Ireland and all over the world to tell stories as we believe that is what good TV is, telling a good story. We’ve danced on the Great wall of China, ran in the Sydney Olympics and even shot a president, in his underwear. We approach all our work with the same dedication,creativity and professionalism to create an end product that is second to none.
