Airmid Irish Natural Skincare at Urkult festival

Airmid Irish Natural Skincare is one of the 3 businesses from the West of Ireland which received support under a creative momentum project to sell at the marketplace of Urkult festival, Sweden on 4-6 August 2016.

The Airmid range perfectly suits the festival’s eco-friendly and sustainable ethos. Each product is made in the Burren by organic horticulturist Kevin Lynch and his partner Tina Robinson.

After their second son was born with eczema in 2009, Tina had to find a pure and safe source for skincare and this led her to begin making chamomile soap at home for her family.

In 2010 Kevin enrolled an Organic College and their outlook on life changed; like many parents they wanted a natural and sustainable lifestyle for themselves and their two boys.

Kevin set up Burren Herbs – supplying herbs and vegetables to local restaurants while Tina began working as a freelance graphic designer while still making soap and completing a professional soap making course.

With a wealth of knowledge in herbs and plant biology, Kevin took over the business and developed it into Airmid Natural Irish Skincare in October 2015, while Tina concentrates on branding, online store and social media.

Kevin will represent the company in Swden…we are sure it’s going to be a success!
