Working with flat sheets of earthenware clay i will build forms that explore form. My vessels gives me a canvas to build texture and pattern that invites the handler to investigate the pot and its suggested reference to function.
I make individual ceramic vessels that explore form and function as well as bespoke functional pieces that are playful and inviting.
Working with earthenware clay i handbuilt with slabs, this allows me to make pieces that are unique in form and individual . As an artist i have been making work that pushes me to question each piece individually, engaging with as the form evolves and provokes new ideas.
My work is exhibited in Ireland and the UK and can also be sourced directly form my studio.
