Creative Steps 2.0 – Anitra Arkko-Saukkonen awarded of her research work

Anitra Arkko-Saukkonen has got an award of her research as a high level and innovative research in Interactive Technology of Education 2017 conference (ITK). ITK conference is the largest conference in Finland related to information and communication technology in educational use and gathers researchers and educators all over the country to share experiences.

Arkko-Saukkonen´s research concentrates on online collaboration in international innovation process. Case study is Creative Steps 2.0 model which has been developed in the Creative Momentum project. Her interests is how cross-border online collaboration can develop future skills in innovation process. She has searched what are the necessary online tools to help collaboration in the process.

The Creative Steps 2.0 initiative has designed to match two companies internationally. Through a common case student team help to innovate new product or service to the businesses which bring common value for both companies. Work happens mainly or only online. Creative Steps 2.0 participants are creative sector businesses, students and external experts. 

Anitra feels humble of the recognition of her research and according to Anitra this gives boost to continue with the valuable content which is part of her RDI work at Lapland UAS and her PhD study at University of Lapland.
