Creative Steps 2.0: Call for Creative Enterprises to Join

Creative Steps 2.0 matches emerging creative talent with existing businesses over a 10-day period in order to facilitate innovation.

The Creative Steps 2.0 process begins by matching two creative enterprises from different countries. These enterprises will be led through a process to define a joint innovation task and will be assigned a multidisciplinary team of four students, who will work on this task during a 10-day structured workshop process, guided by experts.

There will be four enterprise/student teams involved in the programme at the same time, who will share their experiences.

The programme will be repeated four times between 2016 and 2017. The first round will run from 18 May to 1 June 2016. It will involve students from the Lapland University of Applied Sciences and the following businesses from Finland:

• Forest Camp Entertainment Oy – Photography
• Jo-Jo the Dog Film Ltd – TV & Radio [TV advertising/audiovisual]
• Susivilla – Crafts [textile designer and maker/crafter]
• Goins – Mobile game development

a creative momentum project is now seeking applications from creative enterprises based in Mid-Sweden, South East of Northern Ireland and the West of Ireland to be matched with these Finnish companies and students.

The selected companies will participate online at key points during the 10-day Creative Steps 2.0 process: in the initial stage to define the task and at the end, when the student team presents the new product/service/business idea and its prototype.
