Release for Myller in Vännersta

This autumn has been an eventful time for the creative sector in Vännersta, in Mid-Sweden. A new community called Myller has bought the previous grocery store in the village. The house has now become a shared creative space for artists, musicians and other creative entrepreneurs.

Myller has a close relationship to Järnsta café and the culture association Järnsta kulturförening who are settled in the old school building not far from the previous grocery store.

November 28 Myller arranged its first event, together with Järnsta café and other organisations in the region. The event was the grand finale of a three day long workshop in how to make firesculptures.

Before the sculptures were lit outside the school building, the audience were invited into the café to have a coffee and listen to music. The youth chorus Soulteens and the troubadour Kronlids Mekaniska were singing. At eight o’clock in the evening the firesculptures were lit.
